Benita Qualls, PA-C

Benita Qualls, PA-C, is an experienced Physician Assistant who has been caring for patients at Family Medical Associates & Pediatrics for more than 30 years. Throughout her career, she has developed longstanding relationships with generations of patients and families in Lebanon and the surrounding communities. Her extensive primary care experience allows her to care for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic health concerns while providing personalized, compassionate care.

Benita completed her Physician Assistant education at Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, graduating in 1986. She also earned her Bachelor of Science from Trevecca and has been licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Tennessee since 1989.

Benita joined Family Medical in February 1995 and has remained a dedicated member of the practice ever since. Provider Name In addition to comprehensive primary care, Benita has a special interest in women’s health and provides routine preventive services such as Pap smears and other in-office gynecologic care. She values getting to know her patients, understanding their individual healthcare needs, and providing continuity of care throughout the different stages of their lives.

Her commitment to her patients and community has also earned local recognition. Benita was named among the Top 3 Physician Assistants in Wilson County in both 2025 and 2026, reflecting the relationships and trust she has built throughout her many years of practice.

Outside of the office, Benita enjoys reading and spending time with her grandchildren. After more than three decades at Family Medical, she continues to value the relationships she has developed with her patients and the opportunity to care for the community she has served for so many years.
