Dr. Bill Robertson

George W. Robertson II, M.D., known to many of his patients as “Dr. Bill,” is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Pediatrics physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience serving patients and families throughout Middle Tennessee. Since joining Family Medical Associates & Pediatrics in 2001, Dr. Robertson has provided comprehensive primary care for children, adults, and seniors, with an emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, wellness, and evidence-based treatment.

Dr. Robertson earned his undergraduate degree from David Lipscomb University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis. He subsequently completed his internship and residency training in Pediatric Medicine and is board certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.

As an owner and physician at Family Medical Associates & Pediatrics, Dr. Robertson has played an important role in expanding access to high-quality healthcare throughout the community. He is also an owner and physician with Anycare24 and serves as Medical Director for long-term care facilities in Middle Tennessee, extending his clinical leadership to patients across a wide range of ages and healthcare settings.

Dr. Robertson has also been an advocate for bringing innovative medical technologies and treatment options to the region. He is the exclusive physician provider of Exomind® technology in Middle Tennessee, offering patients access to advanced, non-invasive neuromodulation therapy as part of the practice's expanding approach to health and wellness.

His commitment to his patients and community has earned significant local recognition. Dr. Robertson was recognized as the Best Primary Care Physician in Wilson County in 2024.
